What join the Flamingos?

We are club that has existed for the past 50 years in Northern Colorado. We have people from all walks of life and we share the same love for the game of Rugby. You will not only be joining the Flamingos but the thriving Rugby community in Colorado.

Will I get hurt?

Yes, but if you take care of your body, the worst will be some bumps and bruises. Plus, you’ll have an excellent stories to tell the next time you’re at the bar.

How can I learn to play?

The easy answer is to PLAY! However, if you are still struggling understanding the game, you can watch rugby matches on Peacock and YouTube. Watching Rugby is a great way to learn how the game flows and what the penalties are.

What do I need?

A beating heart, a pair of cleats and a mouth guard! The barrier for entry is much lower than Football. If you show up to practice with those things, you will be all set. I guess a pair of shorts might be a good idea as well.
